Please kindly let me know if you have a LATIN Mass at your church.
May I have a response?

Prudence,
Thanks so much for using our blog! We are trying to get more people involved.
I am sorry to report that we do not have a Latin Mass at our church.
Mike S--a Parishoner.
A Latin mass would be great to try, if there were enough interest.
At the recent National Catholic Family Conference, Father Joseph Fessio gave a lecture on the Holy Father's beliefs about the mass, including language. He indicated that Pope Benedict wants proper implementation of Vatican II, which is Latin for all the prayers we do the same each week, while readings and sermons, etc., would be in the vernacular (in our case, English).

If you miss Latin Mass you can attend masses at St. Michael's Abbey in Silverado,CA. You can go to their website at www.abbeynews.org. There is a small church in Ontario (Guasti) that celebrates Latin Masses as well.
